Advertising is not only about TV or print ads, creativity or media buying. Over the years it has showed its usefulness as a true partner for the marketing professionals. Good advertising people know about marketing as much as a professional marketer and understand the way it works and can be put to work.

But all of these words must be proven at some point.

Marketing Arena is such an occasion. For the first second time in Romania, advertising professionals can prove their know-how and forward thinking to the marketers.


At the end of Inspire 2009 conferences, in a 2-hour session, as many as ten advertising people will present their marketing ideas to all the participants. Moreover, they will be evaluated by a group of several well-know marketers, also known as “the jury”.

Each of the ten advertising people will only have 10 minutes for the presentation. When the time is up the microphone will be switched off.

The participants and the jury will rate each idea and by the end of the session we’ll pick the best-rated one as the best marketing idea of 2009.
